The Tennessee Transition to Teaching Program will:

• Provide an online alternative licensure program.
• Pay $5,000 toward your class tuition.
• Allow you to complete an accelerated 14-month program (start in June and finish the following August).
• Allow you to teach your 1st year with standard salary and benefits on an alternative license.
• Require 15 hours of online graduate work leading to full licensure.
• Provide a fully trained teaching mentor for two years. 
• Provide Classroom Organization and Management Program (COMP) and follow-up classroom support
• Continuous professional support.
